Eugene Maurice Valentine, of Mt. Vernon NY, Sunrise December 11, 1965, Sunset April 8, 2025. He was the eldest son of the late Bertha Moody Bostick and Eugene Valentine. He attended schools in Stamford CT, where he was born and raised. Eugene gained skills in construction and electrician, later he became a Licensed Insurance Producer. First above all, he loved GOD!! The love he had shown to others, especially children, never went unnoticed and will never be forgotten. He encouraged the youth to reach greater levels that was certainly his God-given gift. As a child Eugene was an Usher at Bethel AME Church in Stamford CT and in later years became a member at Living Faith Ministry in Mt. Vernon NY, where he also served in the Usher Ministry – Proverbs 22:6. Eugene was a huge sports fan of the Yankees, the Knicks and the Giants, most definitely a New Yorker at heart.
He is predeceased by his loving grandparents Robert and Bertha Moody, William and Rosa Valentine, stepfather Joe Bostick, stepmother Versie Valentine, father-in-law Luka Kanshamba, mother-in-law Selina Valentine-Kanshamba and Sister Deatrice "Dee Dee" Richardson, Brother Reginald "Reggie" Valentine, sister-in-law Peggy Kanshamba, four Uncles, one Aunt, one Niece, two nephews and one great nephew.
Eugene leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Matildah Valentine, two sons Brian Khosas and Derek Khosas, six grandchildren Alexander, Deborah, Emmanuel, Joshua, Matildah and Nathan.
Three sisters Janine Virgin, Lisa Canady and Pam Davis, four brothers Charles Valentine, Joe Bostick, John Wilson and Ricky Goodrich. Three sisters-in-law, Kate Kanshamba, Lillian and Prisilla Kanshamba. Three brothers-in-law; FR. George Kanshamba, Innocent Kanshamba and Victor Kanshamba, one uncle and four aunts and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.
